Something is amiss with Alvin Fisher. Join us this October as we haunt the house at Signal Ensemble Theatre with a little Gothic ghost story selected as Top Five of the Fringe (Chicago Tribune) 2006. That's right, we've brought Funeral Wedding back from beyond the grave! Beloved by both company members and early fans of the group, this is the rare chance to see our second original production revived, revamped, and re-imagined for Halloween 2012.

SYNOPSIS
An incredible tale of a most unusual character, Funeral Wedding: The Alvin Play, (written by Emily Schwartz and directed by Jess McLeod) follows the story Alvin Fisher, a paper-flower-obsessed recluse haunted by the memory of a horrible crime he witnessed one year before. This macabre visual feast employs bright bursts of magical realism, thrusting the story of Alvin’s strange and unhappy childhood raucously between past and present while unraveling the secrets behind the Fisher family mystery through music, memories, and murder.
Due to blood and malevolent ghosts, this show is not recommended for Children under thirteen years of age unless they are very, very morbid.
